Institute for Applied Development
About Us
The Institute for Applied Development (I-AD) is where theory meets practice. We bring together the most current schools of thought in the workplace and human performance and create assessments built to prompt action and productive change. I-AD is a consortium of scholars and industry professionals bringing research-based experiential resources to individuals and organizations.
The Institute’s focus on Applied Development implies Learning through Doing. ‘Learning’ methods include assessments with resource guides, and ‘Doing’ encourages the option of individual coaching services that provide rich and engaging content and discussion, allowing the opportunity to put the concepts into practice.
I-AD is an accrediting body that enhances individual and organizational performance by encouraging more effective and mindful practices.
Our guiding principles include:
- Recognizing the potential and value in all people and respecting their individuality.
- Cultivating a more compassionate, cooperative, and productive environment through continual development of emotional intelligence.
- Building relationships and helping others reach their true potential.
Leadership Philosophy
I-AD assessments are rooted in fostering components of emotional intelligence, coupled with creating awareness in our own behaviors and how we impact others. The reality is that high levels of emotional intelligence continue to differentiate star performers and high-performing organizations from the rest. Investing in your people and as well as yourself is critical to growth and success, and assessments have been scientifically proven to produce the most value for individuals in understanding themselves and others and obtaining long lasting results.
